Helen Hunt got mistaken for Jodie Foster by a barista when she visited a local Starbucks on Monday.
The What Women Want actress shared the hilarious experience with her fans on social media.
"Ordered my drink @Starbucks Asked the barista if she wanted my name. She winked and said. 'We gotcha' #JodieFoster," Hunt wrote on her Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Not only did the barista confuse her for Foster, she also got the spelling wrong. Hunt's post included a photo of her iced beverage with the name "Jody" written across it.
The coffee-chain was quick to respond to Hunt's tweet and apologized for the mix-up with a cheeky little post. "Sorry about that! We hope the drink was still as good as it gets," Starbucks tweeted.
This isn't the first time the two Oscar-winning actresses have been confused for each other. In 1994, during an episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, Hunt explained that she had been misidentified as Foster on several occasions.
"My life has changed a little bit," Hunt said at the time. "I'm recognized now for being who I am, rather than: 'I went to college with you' or 'Did you used to date my cousin?' or 'Are you Jodie Foster?' - which I got for a long time."
Hunt also spoke about this one time she nearly got a free Thanksgiving turkey at the supermarket because the cashier was a Jodie Foster fan.
"The guy is checking me out, and says, 'You're Jodie Foster.' And I said, 'I'm actually not, thank you.' 'No you are, I know you're Jodie Foster.' 'I'm begging you, I'm not, I'm really not,'" she told Letterman before adding that she had to show the fan her driver's license to prove herself and ended up being charged for the turkey.
