Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has revealed his better energy plan. He said that there should be more drilling for oil and gas and lesser regulations in the United States.
Trump announced his energy plan on Thursday as he promised that if he becomes the president of the country, he will make America's energy dominance a strategy for his economic and foreign policy. He pointed out that there is an "incredible energy potential" in the U.S. that remains untouched. The comments were made during an oil industry conference in North Dakota.

The presumptive Republican presidential candidate said, "This is your treasure and you the American people are entitled to share in the riches." He asked the audience to imagine a world where their foes and the oil cartels will no longer be able to use energy as a weapon as the United States is loaded with oil and gas resources.
Trump said that he believes the rules that exist now are outdated, unnecessary, and are bad for workers. He promised that if elected, he will scrap the regulations completely. For the new laws, he said that he will assess whether any regulation is good or bad for the American workers before it is enacted.
Trump said that he would approve the Keystone XL after it was blocked by current U.S. President Barack Obama. He also proposed that moratoriums over oil and gas production on federal lands will be lifted.
Trump believes that his energy plan will create many jobs. He noted that workers in the oil industry are struggling these days due to job cuts caused by the decrease in oil prices in the last months. He claimed that his energy plan will create $6 trillion in additional tax revenue over the next 40 years.
The real estate mogul also added in his speech that he would create clean air and water for Americans.
Trump's latest statement is the extreme opposite of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. The Vermont Senator has said that he will ban fracking as it is bad for the environment and that it encourages too much reliance on fossil fuel.
