Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from husband Lamar Odom for the second time in Los Angeles on Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the former NBA player tied the knot in September 2009 and Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013.

Before the divorce could be finalized, Kardashian withdrew her petition after Odom was found unresponsive at a Las Vegas brothel last year. The 31-year-old cited Odom's medical condition as the reason behind her decision to withdraw the divorce.

Odom, 36, was hospitalized in a critical condition after a near-fatal overdose of cocaine and other drugs in October 2015. Kardashian stayed by his side as he recovered in the hospital and made sure he received the best medical treatment after being discharged.

In her divorce filing, Kardashian has asked the judge to reject spousal support and split the assets according to the pre-nuptial agreement signed by the estranged couple. Kardashian is also seeking to go back to her maiden name.  

In March, Odom was spotted drinking at a Los Angeles bar hours before he celebrated Easter with the Kardashian family, which didn't go down too well with Khloe considering that consuming alcohol is dangerous for his health after his near-fatal overdose.

She was "very worried about Lamar and his behavior but Lamar refuses to listen to her," a source told People at the time.

Last month, Kardashian took to Instagram to express her feeling about her relationship with Odom.

"Letting go with love takes great strength," she wrote. "We have to learn to stop taking on people's problems as if they are our own. Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back."

In a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, filmed in February, Khloe and Odom discussed their divorce on a private plane, returning from Kanye West's fashion show in New York, where Odom made his first public appearance since his health scare.

"We're definitely getting out of this marriage, because it's been a little tainted," Khloe told Odom. "We need to cut our ties, and we can figure it back out."
