NBA News: Stephen Curry, LeBron James Top 2015-16 All-NBA First Team

Back-to-back MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was a uniform choice for the All-NBA First Team, the league announced on Thursday.
The NBA's leading scorer is joined on the first team by Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard and Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James.

According to the official website of the NBA, Curry received all 129 ballots to come up with 645 total points while the four-time MVP James garnered a total of 125 First Team votes (637 total points). Curry has earned his second consecutive First Team honors, and James secured his 10th in 13 seasons.
2016 NBA All-Star Game MVP Russell Westbrook collected 627 points (120 First Team votes) while 2016 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard earned 75 points (94 First Team votes) and big man DeAndre Jordan received 317 points (39 First Team votes).
The All-NBA Second Team is made up of Oklahoma City forwards Kevin Durant and Warriors' Draymond Green, guards Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and Chris Paul of the Clippers, and center DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings.
The All-NBA Third Team comprises of forwards Paul George of Indiana and LaMarcus Aldridge of the Spurs, big man Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons, guards Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors and Klay Thompson of the Warriors.
The All-NBA Team is selected by a group of broadcasters and sportswriters in the United States and Canada. The media voted for All-NBA First, Second and Third Teams by position with points awarded on a 5-3-1 basis.
The voters were asked to choose two guards, two forwards and one center for each team, selecting players at the position they play regularly. Players who received votes at multiple positions were slotted at the position where they received the most votes.
