Amber Heard filed for divorce from Johnny Depp after 15 months of marriage. Heard claimed that Depp hit her with her mobile phone, pulled her hair and screamed at her on May 21, two days before she filed for divorce.

Court filings obtained by People magazine show that Amber Heard has been granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp on Friday after she revealed two instances when the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star physically abused her. In the documents, she claimed that Depp abused her, both physically and verbally, throughout the entire relationship.

On Monday, the 30-year-old actress submitted a photo that showed a bruise over one of her eyes as evidence. That photo was taken on May 21 after a violent confrontation ensued at their apartment in downtown Los Angeles. Prior incidents were allegedly worse.

A source narrated the abuse that took place on May 21 in an exclusive interview. When cops arrived at Heard's residence on the night, Depp had already left. The police encouraged Heard to make a statement after seeing her wounds and the trashed house. However, Heard declined, saying she was too shaken.

Prior Incidents of Abuse

Meanwhile, E! News reported that the incident was just the latest one. Heard claimed that there have been several prior incidents of domestic violence with Depp. A particular incident in 2015 made her fear for her life, she claims. However, she did not reveal further details about the incident.

Court documents have revealed that Heard and Depp got into a bad argument after her birthday on April 21.  Depp allegedly threw a wine glass at her before shoving her violently to the floor. Depp also threw a magnum size bottle of champagne at the wall.

The actor is yet to address the allegations made against him. However, Depp's attorneys allege that Heard is just trying to expedite and force him to pay for spousal support.
