A company based in Switzerland hopes to help alleviate the pain that comes with having to stand for long periods of time.
The company named Noonee has built a patent-pending mobile exoskeleton to relieve the strain on workers required to stand for several hours on end.
It calls its invention, the "Chairless Chair."

The Chairless Chair is the first exoskeleton to revolutionize working comfort for workers worldwide.
It carries your body weight, thereby alleviating the stress imposed on your legs, back and joints. The four-pound contraption straps to the outside of your clothing.
You wear it, walk with it and use your natural sitting motion and posture to maneuver the exoskeleton in a comfortable locking position.
You sit down without having to sit down on anything. The Chairless Chair makes you look like you're sitting on air.
When a user wants to take a seat, he simply pushes a button and sits down. Push a button again, and you can stand-up.
A portable variable damper built into the exoskeleton allows the device to support the bodyweight of the user when he sits down, thereby reducing the stress on leg muscles and joints.
Noonee spun CEO Keith Gunura said he came up with the idea for the Chairless Chair while working at a packaging factory in the UK.
"Imagine if you had one of these while you were riding on a crowded train: it would make for a much more comfortable commute," Gunura told CNN.
"But we're also thinking about people behind the counter in retail, farmers picking fruit and even surgeons in the operating room. A chair would be impractical, but the Chairless Chair would fit in nicely."
This beneficial support will allow users to raise productivity levels by keeping themselves refreshed or less fatigued. This will, in turn, allow them to focus on the task at hand rather than on their aching joints and muscles.
