Pasco County officials believe that the person of interest in the abduction of a four-year-old Hudson boy afflicted with autism may still be in the area. This prompted the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to issue an Amber Alert in connection with the search on Thursday afternoon.

"We're out there searching bars right now. We're searching homeless camps," Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said. "We're working under the assumption that right now that we believe the he could possibly be close by," the official added.
The suspect, Adam Matos, 28, might possibly be armed and dangerous, according to Nocco. The four-year-old victim, Ismael "Tristan" Santisteban, may be suffering from health issues as he is autistic and relies on medicine. "Our biggest concern is finding little Tristan," the sheriff stated at a news conference. "We are very, very concerned for him," he asserted.
Both Matos and Santisteban were found missing after deputies responded to a welfare check call at 7719 Hatteras Drive. Based on the reports, one of the responding officers detected something off in the area. They later on discovered four putrefying bodies-two were adult males and the other two were adult females. The bodies were said to be stacked on top of one another and located approximately three quarters of mile from the checked home. Their identities would be released upon notification of their closest relatives.
According to the neighbors, the people residing in the inspected house moved in last July. Police records show that deputies first visited the Hatteras Drive home last Thursday due to a disturbance report. "We responded here on the 28th on a domestic incident and on that domestic incident our deputies saw the child," Nocco said.
With respect to the relationship of Matos with the four-year-old boy, one of the theories of investigators is that he may be the biological father. "We're not sure exactly if Adam is the biological father. We do know that he considered a fatherly figure," the sheriff divulged.
