Huawei Honor 5A and 5A Plus: Two New Mid-Range Smartphones Pass Through China's TENAA

It looks like two new Huawei Honor smartphones are making their way soon to the market as two devices - called Honor 5A and 5A Plus - were recently spotted over at China's telecommunications equipment certification center, TENAA.

The Huawei Honor 5A and 5A Plus are said to feature 5.0-inch and 5.5-inch display screens respectively. They each feature HD display and come with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box.

Inside, the Honor 5A comes with a quad-core 1.3GHz chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory storage, and a 2,200 mAh battery. In terms of the camera, it has a 13 megapixel rear-facing unit and a 2 megapixel front-facing shooter.

On the other hand, the Honor 5A Plus is said to accompany an octa-core 1.8GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory storage and a larger 3,000 mAh battery. The device has an 13 megapixel rear-facing camera as well and an 8 megapixel front-facing snapper.

Other devices that also made it to TENAA recently include two new mid-range Xiaomi devices along with the model numbers "2016030" and "2015115". According to a report by GSM Arena, these two new devices look almost a lot like the Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, so they may be new members to these lines of smartphones.

Some of the specs include a 5.0-inch HD screen with an octa-core 1.4GHz chipset, 13MP/8MP cameras, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory 2,850 mAh battery. The other model, on the other hand, comes with 5.5-inch screen with Full HD, a hexa-core 1.8GHz chip, 16MP/5MP, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory and a whipping 4,000 mAh battery.
