New HP Chromebooks
Hewlett-Packard (HP) won't be left behind Acer and Toshiba as it announced new pair of competitive Chromebooks today.
The HP Chromebooks come in two screen sizes; 11-inch and 14-inch.
The 11-inch model seems like a big leap from its predecessor. Previously, HP used the ARM-based Exynos processor but now uses Intel's Bay Trail Celeron processor.

It also features 4 GB of RAM from 2 GB. It's expected to have a 1366 x 768 screen resolution; 16 GB file storage with additional 100GB of Google Drive space and an improved battery that lasts for more than eight hours.
Users shouldn't expect a stylish new Chromebook and it only comes in silver and turquoise colors.
The 14-inch Chromebook is a little different from the previous year's model. HP is now using Nvidia's K1 processor.
The Chromebook can be configured with 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM. It can either have 16 GB or 32 GB of storage, with an added 100 GB of Google Drive storage.
HP, however, didn't clarify if its 14-inch Chromebook has a screen resolution of 1366 x 768. If it does, it won't be a good feature for the new line-up.
On a brighter side, HP's new 14-inch Chromebook is a bit slimmer and lighter. It also has a battery that will last for over eight hours.
The 11-inch Chromebook will be available on October 5 at US$279.99.
On the other hand, the 14-inch model goes for US$299.99 and will be available on October 22.
