Chinese smartphone maker OPPO is apparently planning to launch another device soon. A device from the company has been spotted on the website of China's telecommunication equipment certification authority, TENAA. As per listing, the OPPO A59 smartphone will feature a massive 3GB RAM and a 13-megapixel camera.

OPPO is the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer globally - above Xiaomi and Lenovo. The company is well-known for its quality devices and decent hardware specifications. Like any other Chinese companies, OPPO is also present in the Indian market. OPPO recently launched the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus smartphones in the country and they have become a hit in the region.

The OPPO A59 smartphone appears to be the successor to the the OPPO A53, which was launched last year. The device is classified as a new mid-range smartphone and it looks is similar to the OPPO R9 smartphone with a physical home button on the front panel.

With regards to the features and specifications of the upcoming OPPO A59 smartphone, the device features a 2.5D 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display screen, similar as the Oppo A53. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-core processor and it is expected it to be Snapdragon 617 SoC. The smartphone is packed with a massive 3GB of RAM and comes with a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

OPPO A59 runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system out of the box along with a customized Color OS user interface overlaid. On the camera front, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support and an 8-megapixle front camera.  The smartphone is powered by a 2,980mAh capacity battery inside

Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM dual standby, 4G LTE with VoLTE Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device is slim and sleed as it only measures a body dimension of 154.5 x 76 x 7.3 mm and weighs 160 grams. The OPPO A59 will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
