As news about the comeback of "High School Musical" is spreading like wildfire, Zac Efron has recalled the good times he had with his castmates. The 28-year-old star shared a group snap together with Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu on his Instagram page.

"So grateful I came across this picture," Efron captioned the photo. "With the o.g. crew during one of the most cherished and exciting times of my life. Love you guys forever."

The image was taken on Aug. 26, 2008. Efron was evidently having a time of his life as he was all smiles along with his friends.

According to Times of India, the picture was taken two months before "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" was released.

It has been ten years since the movie "High School Musical" was released. The case marked the milestone in January.

Unfortunately, Efron did not make it on the Disney Channel TV cast reunion to celebrate its anniversary, but he sent a special recorded message. Other "High School Musical" stars like Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel were all present at the event at the East High School. The former cast paraded in the gym, where the famous Disney Original Movie's song "We're All in this Together," was shot.

There are speculations that a fourth installment of the "High School Musical" franchise is in the works. At the moment, it is unclear if the original cast will appear in the upcoming film.
