Song Joong Ki has undeniably risen to fame after the success of the "Descendants of the Sun" series. However, new reports have it that the leading man of Song Hye Kyo will soon be quitting his acting career to focus more on modelling.

Reports about Song Joong Ki quitting his acting jobs have surfaced online lately. The news have sparked after the "Descendants of the Sun" actor topped the CF Model list for three consecutive months.

Song Joong Ki has remained at the top spot as the most remarkable model for the months of March, April and May. The "Descendants of the Sun" actor has put Lee Dae Ho, who is a baseball player of the Seattle Mariner, on the second place and actor Kim Go Eun ending in the third rank.

"When we looked at the May data for CF models, because of a lot of negative data, a lot of CF models' values decreased," a representative from Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation told All K-pop. "It's true that they need to have a lot of exposures, but it's also important to have a positive image."

Owing to the fact that Song Joong Ki has topped the model list for three months already, several fans cannot help but speculate that the "Descendants of the Sun" actor will be leaving his acting jobs to pursue a modeling career. However, it seems impossible for the leading man of Song Hye Kyo to leave his acting jobs as he has a lot of movies and TV guestings to focus on.

As a matter of fact, it has been previously reported that Song Joong Ki will be filming for the "Descendants of the Sun" Season 2 alongside Song Hye Kyo. Other fans have even said that the 30-year-old actor was already spotted filming some scenes for the upcoming "DOTS" sequel.
