Tourism Summit To Encourage Partnerships Convenes At Beijing

The 2014 World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit began at Beijing on Thursday. Dignitaries and business moguls from around the world descended upon the city to connect new business partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
The summit is a two-day event, which is themed "The World Tourism Cities: Market and Cooperation." It attracts delegates from more than 100 cities worldwide representin WTCF institutions.

Airline companies, hotels, travel agencies and airports and other industry-related entities will participate in a number of product demonstrations, promotional opportunities and dialogues that all address current and future trends in the travel industry throughout the world.
China is listed as the largest outbound tourism market and the third largest tourist reception country in the world which reflects China's importance in the growing travel industry throughout the world.
A vast majority of the discussions planned for the international conference will be focused specifically on Asia and focused on how to further develop technology, new media and outbound tourism consumption.
During the conference, the 2014 WTCF Exploration (World Tourism Cities Expo and Marketplace) will promote cooperation between tourism cities and operates throughout the world.
These collaborative efforts frequently yield new partnerships between prospective partners throughout the industry.
Tourism operators from Russia, Japan, South Korea, United States, Canada, France and Germany are scheduled to give presentations and facilitate discussions on upcoming projects that are being developed in their regions.
