Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company will make significant changes to its iCloud service to better protect its users.
The changes take place after the massive leak of nude celebrity photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and many others last week.
According to Cook, hackers were able to gain access to the users' passwords by typing the passwords correctly after answering the security questions or by using phishing scams.

The CEO said in order to ensure the recent celebrity photo hack won't happen again, Apple will notify users anytime someone attempts to change his password; restore iCloud data to a new device or log-in on a new device for the first time.
Apple's next iOS will offer 2-factor authentication for iCloud.
It will require users to log in with a username, password and its unique code sent to the users' phone every time they log-in. Cook said they will be more explicit in encouraging users to activate 2-factor authentication.
The previous 2-factor authentication was unable to protect iCloud back-ups.
Google and other companies have also taken the same measures for their cloud services to protect users.
Previous reports said the incidents hit Apple's Find My iPhone service that lets users attempt to guess passwords.
Apple's plan to toughen security might not be enough, according to security experts.
Ashkan Soltani, an independent security researcher, said notifying users won't be enough to protect consumers' information since it only alerts them.
Cook confessed that Apple previously failed to properly educate users on the significance of using tougher security.
"I think we have a responsibility to ratchet that up. That's not really an engineering thing," Cook added.
Apple has begun to realize consumers are now as interested in securing their data as they are in the usability of the device.
