A 25-year-old man is set to appear in court on Saturday for murder charges after being identified as the suspect for the death of an 82-year-old woman found decapitated in a north London garden.
According to the Scotland Yard on Friday, Nicholas Salvador, a resident of Enfield, was charged for the grisly murder of Italian widow Palmira Silva who was found allegedly decapitated at a garden behind a house in Nightingale Road, Edmonton.

He is due to appear before the Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
On Thursday, authorities responded to a report from the neighborhood of a man attacking domestic animals in broad daylight and later found Silva's lifeless body in the area.
After evacuating residents in nearby homes, police officers chased after 25-year-old Salvador who was seen yielding a knife that reports indicated to be the murder weapon.
He was later subdued through the use of a stun gun, although the pursuit resulted to one officer suffering from a broken wrist.
Because of that, he was also charged for assaulting a police officer.
The Scotland Yard is also investigating on another assault on two people who were able to escape their assailant without any injuries.
Though there had been suspicions of a possible terrorist attack because of recent reports on the Islamic State threats, authorities have concluded otherwise citing that there was no positive indication of a terror attack in the area.
Members of the neighborhood paid tribute to the deceased Italian widow who manages a café along Church Street, with one describing her as a "lovely lady," having no "bad bone in her body."
"I'm so upset. She was a very smiley lady, always had a smile on her face, and loved the community," Dilek Solma, a 19-year-old employee of the neighboring establishment, told BBC News.
Another neighbor, Raj Thangavelselvaraj, remembered her as a "nice lady" who was 'good to everyone.'
