Jessica Simpson Writes Wedding Vows for a Blissful Marriage on Glamour Mag

In her latest column on Glamour magazine, Jessica Simpson shared five vows for a happier and stronger marriage.

The 34-year-old singer tied the knot with her longtime beau, football player Eric Johnson, last July and is now sharing her most important reflections on being the best she could be.

"Now that I'm in my 30s, I've grown into myself and established my identity on my terms," Simpson said.

The newlywed also wrote about embracing her strengths and taking pride in even the smallest of triumphs.

"I'm certainly not perfect, but when I look in the mirror, I'm proud of the woman I see. I'm not only someone's mother, wife and daughter - I'm me," Simpson stated.

The Texas-born artist wrote a second vow, which was "to let him love all of you."

"Eric has seen me at every size, and he loves me no matter what," the blonde beauty shared, who had been an object of criticism for packing in the pounds during her pregnancies. Nonetheless, Simpson came in at #32 in VH1's 2013 list of 100 Sexiest Artists of All Time.

She mentioned about feeling anxious of starting over again after getting pregnant with second child Ace Knute, four months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew.

"Eric was so supportive and challenged me to accept my insecurities and focus on what truly matters," Simpson explained. "I feel stronger than ever, and Eric's unconditional love has been a reminder of the love I should give myself."

In her third vow, the successful entrepreneur stressed the importance of investing in "me time."

"We all have busy lives, but once the big day is over, it's important to have something that you really love to do for yourself," the fashion designer continued.

"I sometimes second-guess spending time working - I want to be with my kids as much as possible!," Simpson wrote. "Then I remember how satisfying work is for me, and because I am fulfilled, I can offer the best version of myself to my family."

The spokeswoman for Weight Watchers glowed in her wedding gown but claimed that there was no need to "deprive" herself to fit into the dress.

"Because of what I learned from Weight Watchers, I didn't have to. I gave myself plenty of time to get my body where I wanted it to be, and I learned to make balanced choices during the process," Simpson explained. "The moment I put on my gown, I was proud that I had let myself celebrate along the way."

Finally, she shared her final vow, which was to "honor your support system."

"The loving support of my friends and family has been the magic behind how amazing I felt on my wedding day," the singer shared. Grateful for such relationships, Simpson believes that her bond with her husband and her understanding of herself has "strengthened daily."
