Following Kanye West's canceled show in Governor's Ball on Sunday, the 38-year-old rapper sought to perform a secret act in Webster Hall in East Village. However, the surprise show almost turned into chaos as 4,000 fans tried to squeeze themselves into the biggest nightclub in New York City.

According to NY Daily News, Kanye West hinted that he has a surprise for his fans at the Webster Hall after his concert in Summer Jam in New Jersey at about 12 in the midnight.

As soon as the Famous singer tweeted his surprise show, a lot of Yeezy fans gathered at the said event. Webster Hall can only hold 1,500 people. However, people ended up occupying two streets in the area.

In fact, the people got too many to handle that the event descended into a "near-riot" state, according to Billboard. Some shouted "F--- Gov Ball," while a witness described the incident, "It's pandemonium."

Unfortunately, Kanye West's surprise performance in Webster Hall was also called off at 1:45 a.m. by the club's management.

"There is no late show at Webster Hall tonight. Please get home safely," the nightclub said in a tweet.

But, this did not stop Kanye West. The Ultralight Beam hitmaker along with his wife, Kim Kardashian, were seen driving to find another spot to have his performance.

Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, took a video of her husband and shared it live on social media. The mother-of-two shared a close-up photo of Kanye West standing in his open-top car.

"Call the mayor and shut down the block about four streets and put screens up so they could have a party outside, I heard it was sold out already," Kanye West in the clip posted by Kim Kardashian on Snapchat.
