Crash Bandicoot is a 2D platform game developed by Naughty Dog for PlayStation One in 1996. After a year, several sequels were developed up until 2010, reaching up to iPod Touch and iPhone platforms

Despite the franchise' success, several games were turned down as well, like the titled game Cortex Chaos supposed to be released in 2005, I am Crash Bandicoot and Crash Team Racing in 2010, and another game without a title in 2012, according to Inquisitr.

Fans are still hoping for a comeback on a newer console after Sony President and Group CEO Andrew House indicated that bringing back the game is a dangerous option, considering what happened with their canceled games in the past years. "We've started to say that maybe there isn't anything wrong with going back and looking at characters that people still talk about, that were a big part of either their childhood or their youth," House said.

A Playstation Middle East Twitter account also posted a picture which says "Most wanted person... where are you Crash," showcasing the picture of the main character in February 2016.

The game is still listed on Alcom, with a price of 78.90 Swiss francs and will be released in 2017 with Jump and Run as the genre which describes the game.
