The Playboy Mansion owned by playboy publisher Hugh Hefner now has a buyer-and he's willing to pay top price!
The transaction transpires only a few months after it was announced that the home was for sale for a staggering $200 million.
"We can confirm that the Playboy Mansion is in escrow with Daren Metropoulos as the buyer," a statement from Playboy said.

Metropoulos is the principal owner of the private equity firm Metropoulos & Co., which also owns Twinkies-maker Hostess Brand.
However, the statement did not indicate how much is the mansion's asking price "including what contingencies need to be cleared to close the sale," the statement said.
While the official price tag was not divulged, still different sources can tell that the final offer came in at more than $100 million, half than the asking price but still big enough to lure only those who have hundreds of millions to spare.
The mansion sits on five acres of rolling property in the Holmby Hills area. Since Hugh Hefner is still alive, more likely, an agreement will have to be made with the buyer because Hefner is likely to stay in his mansion until he passes away.
The 20,000 square foot residence is considered an "ultra-private retreat and the ultimate setting for large-scale entertaining." With 29 rooms, a home theater, swimming pool and an additional four-bedroom guest house, guests will marvel at the expanse and luxury that the home has to offer.
"This is the right time to seek a buyer for this incredible property who understands the role the Mansion has played for our brand and enables us to continue to reinvest in the transformation of our business," said Scott Flanders, CEO of Playboy Enterprises after the house was put on the market.
"The Playboy Mansion has been a creative center for Hef as his residence and workplace for the past 40 years, as it will continue to be if the property is sold," he continued.
"The heritage of this property transcends its celebrity, and to have the opportunity to serve as its steward would be a true privilege," Daren told The Wall Street Journal but declined to tell how much money he spent for the mansion.
