Floyd Mayweather Jr. Sued By Ex-Fiancée Shantel Jackson for Beating, Humiliating Her

Shantel Jackson, former fiancée of Floyd Mayweather Jr., filed a civil suit against the boxing superstar Friday for allegedly beating, threatening and humiliating her.

The Money is now facing a defamation lawsuit filed by Jackson with the help of the prominent Attorney Gloria Allred. At a press conference in Los Angeles, the former model and actress said Mayweather humiliated her by posting online a sonogram of her pregnancy, claiming that Jackson had an abortion resulting to their break-up.

"It is with a heavy heart that I finally realized that the only way to set the record straight, and to achieve justice for what he has done to me, is through the filing of this lawsuit," Jackson said.

"I have been embarrassed and humiliated more than I can ever imagine by Floyd, whom I once called my best friend and fiancé."

Jackson also revealed that Mayweather threatened her, saying that he would post naked photos of her on social media if she didn't remove a posted picture of herself with rapper Nelly taken this April at a basketball game.

She claimed that the boxer physically assaulted her by bending her arm, restraining her and pointing a gun at her foot while asking "Which toe do you want me to shoot?"

Jackson also noted that her then husband-to-be asked her to remove her 17-carat engagement ring off her finger at gunpoint.

She stated that she decided to end their on-again off-again relationship after concluding that Mayweather is abusive and would not change.

Jackson never admitted of the twin's abortion but has told Allred that Mayweather was informed of the pregnancy's termination last January.

This lawsuit marks Mayweather's second involvement with domestic violence. Mayweather had pleaded guilty to battery charges filed by his former girlfriend Josie Harris, resulting to two months of jail time in 2012.
