Senior Chinese Officials are determined to end this practice in the next five years. This has been confirmed by Senior Chinese Official Huang Jiefu.
In accordance with this want to end such practice, that the world media and medical practitioners worldwide found unacceptable, the Chinese government arrived to a solution of launching an Organ Donation System.
This organ donation system caught the attention of more or less 150 hospitals and medical entities all over China to become official centers and carry-out organ extraction from voluntary donors. This was confirmed by Mr. Huang Jiefu as a follow-up of his statement in ending organ extraction from executed prisoners.
At least with this program, organ recipients can make sure that they are receiving a healthy and non-contaminated working organ for their full recovery of whatever ailment they have. This will also end the issues and investigations by the Chinese human rights group, of either voluntary or involuntary organ extraction. The Chinese government still chose to remain silent regarding this aspect of organ extraction.
The launching of the Organ Donation System by the Chinese government hopes to expand the government's ability to cover-up its shortage of almost 96.67% of Chinese patients who need an organ donation, or 290,000 per year in figures (making 10,000 patients lucky enough for receiving an organ donation and having the chance to survive of their aliment, out of 300,000 average annual demand).
This donation system takes effect immediately after participating medical entities confirm their participation. Standard operating procedures for a smooth system flow will also be discussed with concerned parties.
