Grace Chan's career seemed to be in an upward trajectory after winning the Miss Hong Kong crown in 2013. In fact, her acting career has never been better. But that doesn't mean all's well since her good friend and Miss Hong Kong 2013 first runner-up, Sisley Choi, seems to be outpacing her in terms of career growth.

Sisley is now a movie darling with back-to-back films she's now busy with. And there's more. The 25-year-old actress is also starring with Best Actor, Nick Cheung!
Comparisons between the two stars could never be denied but Grace also explains that she never envied Sisley's successes.
"A movie is only three hours long while a television series is 30 episodes," she said, comparing Grace's movie gigs to his TV projects.
"A movie only requires those few hours to showcase the actor's performance. On the other hand, TVB is a great company where I can learn things. I want to take things one step at a time. Besides, in addition to great acting skills to film a movie, timing is also very important!" Grace explained.
Grace confirmed that she was offered to star in a horror flick even before she joined the Miss Hong Kong pageant. She had to say no though because of religious beliefs.
"At the time, my manager asked me if I cared about filming this genre of movies," she said.
"In the end, I rejected it!"
However, Grace later on accepted the role in Blue Veins, which also tackles the supernatural. But Grace explained that "the paranormal subject" in Blue Veins were "much more realistic." The movie was also "not scary" since television dramas impose restrictions more than motion pictures do.
