Ellen DeGeneres is facing legal charges over a breast joke she made during one of her talk show's segment, What's Wrong with These Ads... and These Signs?

A woman from Georgia is suing the Emmy-winning host after she allegedly ridiculed her name on national television during an episode that aired on February 22 and again on April 15.

Titi Pierce, 35, is seeking monetary damages from DeGeneres for using her name as a joke on the said segment, pronouncing it as "titty" in front of her live and television audiences.

According to the court documents filed on Thursday, Pierce asserts that no one has ever referred to her in such derogatory term in all of her 35 years of life. As grammar dictates, Pierce said that her name is pronounced as "Tee Tee."

To add insult to injury, the producers of the talk show did not blur out Pierce's cellphone number from the advertisement. She claims that while driving to a funeral she started receiving "ridiculing and harassing" phone calls and voice mail messages from unknown numbers after the segment aired on television.

The lawsuit states that "Titi" is a Nigerian name meaning "flower" and was chosen by the plaintiff's mother out of love and affection. Pierce, who is an electronics engineer and a real estate agent from, claims that she suffered emotional stress, embarrassment and humiliation after the incident.

In the suit, filed against Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc who owns The Ellen Show, Pierce is seeking damages for defamation, false light invasion of privacy, misappropriation of likeness, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The Ellen Show debuted in early September 2013 on NBC and has become a popular talk show since. Now in its thirteenth season, the show is known for its celebrity appearances and sidesplitting segments.
