The lead vocalist of \hard rock band Guns N' Roses, Axl Rose, is asking Google to take down all his photos that have been used in memes.
The 54-year-old has reportedly sent out DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) notices for remove his "Fat Axl" images from the web.
The Songwriter is demanding copyright for all his pictures taken at a Winnipeg concert in 2010. He claims he has already reached Blogspot and GoogleUserContent on May 31 to remove his photos.

"Copyright image of Axl Rose. Please be advised that no permission has been granted to publish the copyright image so we cannot direct you to an authorized example of it," the notice sent out by Axl Rose's Web Sheriff said, according to Torrent Freak.
It turned out the said picture was taken by a photographer named Boris Minkevich from the Winnipeg Free Press. Minkevich reportedly has no idea of Axl Rose's copyright claims and his demand to take it down.
Minkevich was not the official photographer of the event and was not authorized to take the picture.
"[If a photographer] was there and taking shots without permission or authority, then other considerations / factors would come-into-play as to what such individuals can and cannot do in terms of attempting to commercially exploit the resultant images of someone else's show," Axl Rose's Web Sheriff explained.
It is also questionable if the Web Sheriff Axl Rose hired to sent out DMCA notices can get a request for his photos without even going through legal procedures. Hence, Google has apparently refused to take his pictures down.
