After her recent breakup with Harry Styles from 'One Direction', Kendall Jenner is rumored to be moving on and starting a budding romance with the drummer of '5 Seconds of Summer', Ashton Irwin. When asked about the status of their relationship, however, the heartthrob drummer from the hit Australian was quick to refute the speculations.

"We're not dating," Irwin clarified in an interview with The Sun. "I met her in New York with our team, and we just hung out and had a drink. We were walking down the road -- there was a whole group of us. And I didn't even get in that taxi," he added.

Nonetheless, fans of the rumored couple need not be heartbroken with Irwin's denials as the Australian drummer also confessed to having a crush on the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' reality star. "Hell yeah, she is very attractive, don't get me wrong," Irwin admitted. "I'm kind of awkward, though, I think the most conversation we had was like, 'Hello, I'm Ashton,'" the '5 Seconds of Summer' band member shared.

The rumors regarding the romantic relationship between Irwin and Jenner started the previous month, which was triggered by a picture posted and re-posted all over Twitter. In the photo, the aspiring model and reality star was snapped getting inside a cab with the Australian drummer. In an interview with The Mirror, a source explained that Jenner and her friend Hailey attended a party with the members of '5 Seconds of Summer'. Hence, both girls visited the band in their hotel. The source believed that this behavior was perfectly reasonable despite the model's recent breakup with Harry Styles.

"She and Ashton seemed to really hit it off, though they were also hanging out with Ashton's bandmate, Calum Hood, and some of their team. They had some drinks and decided to continue the party later on," the source shared. "There was definitely chemistry between Kendall and Ashton. They certainly make an attractive couple -- despite the complicated back story."

'5 Seconds of Summer' rose to fame as YouTube stars. The band had a small following online before their big break, which was said to have been roused by the invitation extended by 'One Direction' to join their tour.
