"Jane the Virgin" season 3 will finally reveal what exactly happened to Michael (Brett Dier) after he was shot in the finale episode for season 2.

In that episode, Michael discovered that the woman she has been working with all the while was none other than Rose (Bridget Regan). Michael just didn't know this ahead of time because she was disguised as Susana Barnett (Megan Ketch).

Upon discovering the truth about Susana's real identity, Michael was shot by his partner.

Immediately after, Susana also introduced herself to her girlfriend Luisa (Yara Martinez). The latter was shocked to find out that Rose is still alive.

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Jennie Urman confirmed that Michael's fate will immediately be revealed during the earlier episodes of "Jane the Virgin" season 3.

Meanwhile, Urman also said that season 3 will be all about moving on and growing up.

"We're going to be exploring the idea of growing up and what that means for various people in our family," she said.

Unfortunately, Urman didn't reveal whether or not this growing up would have to do with Jane's mom Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) making a tough decision on whether or not to keep the baby in her womb.

However, there are some rumors that Xo will most likely consider adoption because she previously made it clear to Rogelio (Jaime Camil) that she no longer wants to have any more kids.

To make things worse, Rogelio isn't the person who got her pregnant, but the latter's sworn enemy.

In other news, the exec also confirmed that Jane will finally be having sex not too very far from the future.

This could cause the title of the hit The CW series to change because Jane will no longer be a virgin.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 will premiere on The CW sometime this year.
