HTC to Offer Business Edition of Vive VR Headset for $1200

(Photo : Reuters) HTC Vive BE will launch in June for customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and France.

HTC plans to offer business version of its Vive VR headset and it will be called the Vive Business Edition (BE).

The Vive Business Edition will offer the same hardware as the consumer version, but comes with commercial licensing, a dedicated Business Edition customer support line and a 12-month limited warranty and the option to buy the systems in bulk.

Vive BE is created under HTC’s existing network of commercial partners, spanning a wide range of industries from Automotive to Medical to Design. It includes Dassault Systemes, who developed the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as a collaborative virtual environment for businesses to create differentiating customer experiences.

This new version of of the Steam VR-powered headset will allow individuals and organizations order systems with additional services adapted for business and commercial environments.

The Vibe BE system includes the following: headset, two controllers, two base stations, 3-in-1 Cable, and four face cushions. HTC also has an optional installation service to help in setting up the headsets in a business environment with extra businesses cost.

The Vive BE will launch in June for customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and France, and it will appear globally in the coming weeks. It will cost $1200.
