Poland takes on Northern Ireland in a Group C match of the UEFA European Championships 2016 at the Stade de Nice on Sunday while Germany faces Ukraine in another Group C encounter at the Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille Metropole.

Northern Ireland is participating in the European Championships for the time and Michael O'Neill's side will also be playing its first major tournament in the last three decades.

"The press have been playing it up and its' good for us to come into the tournament as the side with the best record, we just want to continue that," Northern Ireland footballer Niall McGinn said. "The boys are feeling good, we can't wait for Sunday and the first game."

Poland, which is one of tournament's dark horses, will be looking to begin their campaign on a winning note against an inexperienced Northern Ireland side on Sunday.
