The Cleveland Cavaliers will be attempting to replicate their spectacular Game 3 performance on Friday when they host the Golden State Warrior for Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals at the Quicken Loans Arena.

Although the Cavaliers are trailing 2-1 in the series, the Ohio-based team is optimistic as the league's championship round continues to deepen. The Cavs remain the only playoffs team not to have been defeated on their home ground this season.

The Cavs have a perfect 8-0 record in matches played at their home this postseason. It is the longest home game winning stretch in the team's playoff history.

"We can't afford to go down 3-1 and go into their building and give them confidence going back. So it's a do-or-die game for us still," Cavaliers forward LeBron James, who scored game-high 32 points in Game 3, said Thursday.

The Eastern Conference champions are doing a good job in limiting the game production of the league's back-to-back Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry. The Warriors' leading scorer is just averaging 16.0 points in the last three games. Curry has also missed 22 of his 39 attempts.

"We can definitely help Steph out and we will. We can put him in better position to catch the ball or to handle the ball and to come off screens and that kind of stuff with more space, and we'll do that tomorrow. Then the other side of it is just him playing better, and that's what the Playoffs are about." Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr said.

The Cavaliers will still be missing the services of Kevin Love, who is still waiting to be given a medical clearance from the league and team doctors as per the NBA's concussion protocol. Love suffered a head concussion after getting hit by an elbow of Harrison Barnes at the back of the head in Game 2.
