Lindsay Lohan and Brother Accused of Stealing Fashion e-Commerce App

Lindsay Lohan and brother Michael have been accused of stealing an idea from an entrepreneur regarding a fashion e-commerce site and virtual app.

Lindsay and Michael allegedly made a deal with a tech entrepreneur named Fima Potik for the three of them to work on a startup site and app called "Spotted Friend".

The app allows users to see what clothes A-list celebrities have in their closets. This will then allow them to purchase the clothes they see online. The celebrities get a percentage from the sales that the app will make.

The app launched in July 2013 but the business partners have apparently parted ways. However, just last month, Lindsay and Michael started another app with similar features. They are reportedly working with a certain Christopher Roth.

The app is called "Vigme" and is described as a social shopping community. Potik learned about this and immediately slammed the trio with a cease and desist letter. The letter reportedly contained threats that Potik will take legal action if they continue with the app.

"In 2014, after being members of the company for over a year, without any warning, the Lohans and Mr. Roth launched a competing company and improperly took proprietary information and intellectual property from Spotted Friend to start the new business," Potik's letter stated.

The lawyer of Potik added that they will do whatever it takes to protect the legal property of the client.

Lohan's lawyer has responded to the letter saying that there is nothing wrong with the app started by the Lohans and their new business partner.

The lawyer noted that allegations of impropriety leveled against the business of Lindsay are inaccurate. Her lawyer added that it was designed to capitalize on Lindsay's recognition as a fashion icon.

Potik's lawyer has yet to comment on Lohan's response.
