‘Call of Duty Infinite Warfare’ News & Updates: ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Kit Harington Cast as Villain in the Game [VIDEO]

No other game has more links with Hollywood stars than Call of Duty. A video on Activision's Call of Duty Facebook page has revealed the Game of Thrones star Kit Harington as the face of the new enemy.

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington appeared as the new villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in a video posted on the game's Facebook page. According to Engadget, Harington portrayed the face of the Settlement Defense Front, a radical organization aimed to destroy the Earth. This is the opposite from the usual roles Harington used to have.

Most fans are familiar with Kit Harington's role as the Stark's bastard in the popular HBO series, Game of Thrones. It would be interesting to see Harington play a different role from the honorable Jon Snow.
Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki has praised Kit Harington as an amazing talent and a consummate pro. The team expressed their excitement to let their fans see Harington play an entirely different role.
The game developers also worked with Snatch and Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie to develop Kit Harington's character on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
There are no details about the plot of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, or Harington's role. More information is expected to be revealed throughout the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.
'Call of Duty' and Hollywood Stars
According to Screenrant, the Call of Duty has featured celebrity voice actors in almost each of its installment. For instance, in Call of Duty: Warfare 2, the game developers has injected Kevin Spacey's likeness.
Activision is known to use Hollywood name on its products to differentiate each installment.
You can check out Kit Harington as the new face of the enemy in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available on November 4, 2016, in both Legacy and Deluxe Editions.
