Asked further whether or not she really has gotten married, Shiu replied "Yes" without hesitation.
The actress realized the impact of her words a bit too late and quickly clarified that yes, she got married in the movie. She revealed that she is portraying the role of a married female police officer with two children in the movie.
Shiu is currently dating martial artist Vincent Sze. When asked about any plans of marrying him, she jokingly said that her plan for the future was to film another big production under TVB.
Kidding aside, the "Stepping Blood to Finding Plum" star said she thinks that having a marriage certificate in the future is better than having none at all.
Shiu also voiced her opinion on the leaked nude photos of Hollywood stars, saying that the technological contraptions that people have access to these days could be dangerous.
The actress expressed concern for those who were affected by the leak, saying it is important to be extra careful around technology.
At the same time, Shiu admitted being unfamiliar with the applications where the nude photos were hacked from and expressed relief that she doesn't know how to use them.
