Lil Wayne's private plane was forced to make two emergency landings on Monday after the rapper suffered a seizure while traveling to California. The rapper was rushed to a local hospital in Omaha, where he was forced to spend at least one night.

Rolling Stone reported that Lil Wayne was forced to make a detour to Omaha while traveling from Milwaukee to California on Monday afternoon. The "How to Love" rapper suffered a seizure while on board, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing in Nebraska.

Lil Wayne initially refused medical treatment. Omaha Airport Authority confirmed to E! News that a medical call came at 2:36 p.m. EST. However, after 30 minutes from the initial call came in, the plane departed since the party refused treatment.

At 3:56 p.m. EST, the private jet once more landed and Lil Wayne was transported to CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center by ambulance.

The news was first reported by TMZ. A rep for Lil Wayne told Billboard that Lil Wayne is now stable and in good spirits after suffering a minor seizure. The rapper's reps have expressed their gratitude to Lil Wayne's fans for their unending support, prayers, and well wishes.

History of Seizure

In 2012, Lil Wayne was hospitalized after suffering multiple seizures, to the alarm of many fans. Later on, he admitted that he is epileptic and frequently suffers seizures. He revealed that he has had multiple seizures that were not disclosed.

Later, Lil Wayne admitted that the seizures can strike anytime and without apparent cause. However, he said that he suffers seizures mostly due to stress, lack of rest, and overwork.

Lil Wayne is scheduled to appear with 2 Chainz at Kansas City, MO's Sprint Center on Saturday. It is still unclear if the rapper will push through given his health condition.
