He added that Grande was wonderful to work with and that she was very gracious. He added that the singer was a flawless professional performer to both their team and to everyone who was at the Stand Up to Cancer program.

Gallen also pointed out the singer's performance of "My Everything". He said that the song she sang in honor of her grandfather, who was also a cancer patient, was one of the most moving moments in the entire show. He noted that they were honored to have her perform for them.

Grande's grandfather passed away on July 22. Grande has been very open about what she felt regarding the tragic loss.

Also, stars who were there to support the cause included Katie Couric, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Joe Manganiello, and Jon Hamm.

The event was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and aired on different networks. As of today, there was reportedly over US$261 million in pledges by viewers in support of cancer research programs in search for a cure for the disease.
