Rumor has it that American-Taiwanese singer Wilber Pan is dating Taiwanese actress and model Doris Lai.

Speculations rose that Wilber pan and Doris Lai are dating after the actress-model posted a photograph of a credit card bill on her Instagram account this previous Saturday. The receipt allegedly shows that Wilber Pan is the cardholder and that the bill was worth $6,728.48 US dollars. The bill was said to have been from a pub in New York called Up & Down.

She captioned the photo 'Thankyou NY'.

Doris Lai was said to have posted the original receipt, however, she had to delete it because Wilber Pan's name was shown. She later uploaded another photo of the same receipt, but placed a photo of a heart over the singer's name. She deleted the other photo eventually.

The male singer has just ended his promotions for his album 'Crown and Clown' and has returned to the United States. On the other hand, Doris Lai was also in New York.

The model clarified the rumors through a statement released by her manager, saying that she met Wilber Pan in New York. The two stars were said to have met at the wedding of a common friend and later met up at a pub with 20 other friends. However, Wilber Pan paid the in advance but was later divided among them.

According to Doris Lai, she deleted the photos so as not to be involved in any kind of rumor that would be of an inconvenience to her and the singer.

The 30-year old also denied that she and the singer were dating, being firm on her stand that they are only good friends, and that she is currently single. She has stated that she supports Wilber on his album release, but they are nothing but friends.

On the other hand, Wilber's management did not respond to the rumors.
