The man who fears no God seems to be facing the most challenging part of his life!

Sony dropped a major bomb at E3 last Monday, showing Kratos as a father in the new God of War series.

Sony's E3 2016 press conference revealed a major difference in the character of Kratos in God of War series. The trailer showed an older and bearded version of the god-killer together with his young boy, The Verge reported.

The trailer showed a different Kratos, one that gamers are not familiar with. He seems contented to live a simple and quiet life.

Interestingly, Kratos new life involves a lot of normal stuff like talking with his young boy, walking in the woods and hunting. Indeed, fans will be in for a different kind of Kratos in the next God of War.

IGN has commended the new Kratos in the upcoming "God of War" series. Although the game has been one of the most influential action games in the past 15 years, the main character is said to lack a certain depth.

The Young Boy

The new God of War series will revolve around Kratos' relationship with his son. This is apparent throughout the game. There is even a rage meter that appears in the corner every time Kratos gets angry towards his young boy.

However, Sony has promised unexpected spectacle-filled scenes, which God of War is popularly known for.
