Sam Claflin’s Awkward Goodbye to ‘The Hunger Games’

'The Hunger Games' English actor Sam Claflin says that he's already said his goodbyes to the cast and production team, dubbing the incident bizarre.

According to reports, although the cast of 'The Hunger Games' franchise would still be going through the production with the latter parts of the upcoming movie still being filmed, Sam Claflin already bade the them and his character goodbye.

The 28-year old actor translated the role of one of the 'victors', Finnick Odair of District Four, in the film adaptation of the best-selling novel, particularly that of 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' and 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay'.

When asked about his feelings about the post-production status of the film, Sam Claflin said that he has already done his goodbyes. The actor claimed to have felt sad and anxious about it.

"I don't know what I'm going to do with myself for the rest of my life," Sam Clalfin jokingly says during his interview, "I'm never going to work again."

The actor related that he thought he has already gone through the motions of saying his final goodbyes to the cast and crew of 'The Hunger Games', however, he said that he was told to report the next day in order to fill in a certain pick up.

He said he felt awkward having to show up the next day to see everybody and then eventually left. The actor is said to have left a week earlier than the rest of his co-stars who wrapped up the production. He said he left earlier in an attempt to avoid the sad goodbyes.

Still, the English actor, who has garnered popularity among fans for playing the role of the handsome fiction character, will still be making an appearance for the first 'Mockingjay' film that will be released this November 21.

Sam Claflin is currently in Toronto to promote his upcoming film, 'The Riot Club' at the Toronto International Film Festival.
