Middling club Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC (4-2-7, 19 points) is set to host bottom two squad Hangzhou Greentown FC (2-8-3, 9 points) at their home field of Hongkou Football Stadium this Sunday, June 19 as the 2016 Chinese Super League season continues.

Midfielder Cao Yunding opened the scoring for head coach Gregorio Manzano's side at the 15th minute off an assist from teammate Wang Yun before Hebei import Stephane M'Bia leveled the count at the 27th.

Shanghai managed to grab the lead once again during the first half injury time with a goal from Senegalese striker Demba Ba to gain a one-point advantage at the half.

However, M'Bia scored another goal at the 67th to force the draw and a share of a point in the overall standings for the two teams.

Meanwhile, Hangzhou Greentown dropped its second consecutive match and third loss in four games to lowly club Chongqing Lifan, 0-1, also on Wednesday at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Center, as per Soccerway.

Local winger Ding Jie netted the lone goal of the contest at the 67th minute from a pass by midfielder Wang Dong to hand the Green Giants their eighth defeat overall in the current term.

Head coach Hong Myung-bo's boys are currently at the 15th spot of the league table, up for demotion to the China League One next season if they will not be able to climb up the standings, as the CSL gradually approaches its half-season mark.

The predicted result is a 2-1 victory for Shanghai Shenhua.
