A new Xiaomi Mi Max variant with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory surfaced online, leaked in a photo. It has the same specifications and features the same huge 6.44-inch display and is expected to carry a lower price tag that other variants.

Xiaomi Mi Max was launched last month with three variants: 3 GB of RAM with 32 or 64 GB of internal storage, and 4 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal memory.

The 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM variant is powered by Snapdragon 650 chipset. Its 64 GB storage + 3 GB RAM and 128 GB storage + 4 GB RAM models are powered by Snapdragon 652 chipset.

These variants were already launched in China and will be released in India at a press event on June 30. Xiaomi Mi Max is priced at 1499 Yuan (approximately Rs 15,300) for the 32 GB model, 1699 Yuan (approximately Rs 17,500) for the 64 GB option, and 1999 Yuan (approximately Rs 20,500) for 128 GB variant.

Mi Max has a 6.44-inch full high-definition display with 1080 x 1920 pixels (approximately 342 ppi pixel density) and a non-removable Li-Ion 4850 mAh battery with Quick Charge support. It comes with a 16-megapixel camera at the back with PDAF (phase detection autofocus) support and a 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera with a very wide-angle lens of 85 degrees and f/2.0.

The device measures 7.5 mm thick and features a fingerprint and infrared sensor, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 - MIUI 7, Adreno 510 GPU, and Android OS Marshmallow version 6. It comes in black, gold, and white color options, and its connectivity options are 4G LTE with VoLTE support, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
