Portugal will take on Hungary in a Group F match in the ongoing UEFA European Championships 2016 at Stade de Lyon on Wednesday.

Austria will face Iceland in Wednesday's other Group F encounter that starts at same time in Stade de France, Saint-Denis.

For their first two Euro 2016 matches, Portugal has recorded two consecutive draws: the first against Iceland and second against Austria.

Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty shot as Portugal played a scoreless draw against Austria at Paris's Parc de Princes on Wednesday.  "We had a lot of chances and we did well, but we weren't able to finish. I also missed some chances -- a penalty and some others. But that's part of football," Ronaldo said after the 0-0 draw against Austria.

"We need to continue to believe, and once again thank the Portuguese fans who were here and also the ones who were supporting us from elsewhere. I'm sure Portugal will give their best in the next match, and if you try you'll always make it," he said.

Portugal faces a must-win situation when they take on Hungary on Wednesday. They are now in third place in Group F, with two points.

Hungary started their Euro 2016 campaign with a 2-0 win over arch-rival Austria but was held to a dissapointing 1-1 draw by Iceland in their second group stage match at Marseillies on Saturday. They will top the group with a win against Portugal and will also qualify for the round of 16 with a draw.
