Man Who 'Cleaned' Dog in Washing Machine On the Run Back to China

Jacky Lo, the man whose Facebook photos showing a dog in a washing machine angered almost 20,000 people, is said to be on the run back to China.

The photos showed the white Westland Terrier trying to keep its head above water while the machine was fully operational. The photos were uploaded over a month ago but went viral just this month.

Hong Kong police are reportedly looking for the 23-year-old and will be investigating him for animal cruelty.

Upon knowing about the police, Lo posted on his now-deactivated Facebook account the following statement: "Wanted?? This afternoon I'm going back to China. See ya later." Reports suggest that he might have boarded a flight from the Hong Kong International Airport to get to mainland China hours before the post was uploaded.

There are no updates yet regarding the whereabouts of Jacky Lo, however, police have gathered some information about the young man.

According to reports, his Mandarin name is Luo Jiamin, born in 1989 and originally from Guangdong, China.

As for his residency in Hong Kong, authorities believe that he stayed in the Tuen Mun area. Also, a white 2008 Lamborghini was found out to be registered under his name.

However, in a Weibo account that is registered under the name Jacky Lo, all information about Luo Jiamin was said to be false and his Facebook identity supposedly stolen. The owner of the Weibo account said that he has never traveled to Hong Kong.

Other reports have claimed that Lo's fancy posts are a hoax since the owners of the cars he posed alongside with have confirmed they do not know the young man.

Also, a school located in Tuen Mun stated that they are in no way related to Lo and do not have his records at their school. This again contradicts Lo's claims that he is a student at the institution.

The information regarding Jacky Lo has reportedly been posted on different local Facebook pages in Hong Kong and also released on the local news.
