Actor Nicky Wu recently revealed that his wife, Cecilia Liu (Liu Shishi), has no interest in participating in variety shows.

Although Nicky is fond of this kind of shows, he disclosed that they are not as appealing to Cecilia.

The 45-year old actor is currently appearing on Anhui TV's reality variety show, Law of the Jungle. It is a Chinese remake of the South Korean reality show of the same name.

Aside from Nicky, the show features a slew of celebrities out in the jungle trying to survive. In an interview to promote the show, Nicky was asked if he would ever be interested in appearing in a reality show alongside his wife. However, he bluntly answered, "Shishi does not like doing variety shows," Jayne Stars reported.

Regardless of Cecilia not wanting to participate in such shows, Nicky also did say that she likes watching her husband on television, including on Law of the Jungle.

He said, "She's seen it with me. We would binge watch the episodes all night."

He continued, "She told me I looked pretty ugly on the first episode, but did say the show was entertaining to watch. She pitied me when I couldn't eat."

The adorable couple recently made news after Cecilia surprised Nicky at his mini concert, noted Asia Starz. Nicky was performing his song Hand in Hand in Shanghai, when out of nowhere, his wife appeared and handed him a bouquet of blue and white roses.

Nicky was so surprised that he charmingly scratched his head and forgot the lyrics to his own song.

Fans clamored for them to kiss, to which the couple obliged. After kissing each other's cheeks, Nicky jokingly asked, "Are you satisfied now?"
