Following one season with the Western Sydney Wanderers, forward Dario Vidosic has transferred to Chinese Super League squad Liaoning Whowin FC. On Thursday, his transfer was completed.
Vidosic reportedly passed the required medical exam and Liaoning formally "reached an agreement with Wanderers for his signature," according to the A-League's official website.

With the signing, the 29-year-old Yugoslavia-born winger became the third Australian to suit up for Whowin this season as after his countrymen James Troisi and Michael Thwaite joined the team.
The former FC Sion attacking midfielder was acquired by the Wanderers in September last year. He signed a two-year contract for an undisclosed amount which would have expired next year.
However, after only a season and less than a year with the Sydney-based team, Vidosic decided to move to the Far East. He appeared in 28 games for the Red and Black in 2015-2016, scoring four goals in the process.
Four Four Two has reported that Vidosic's deal with Liaoning will last for 18 months and is reportedly worth $1 million. While the team now has three Australians in its lineup, the club might soon release Troisi as the midfielder has "failed to break into the side."
Only five foreign players are allowed per team in the CSL this season, and Vidosic will be the sixth, so Liaoning will be required by the rules to release one of them anyway.
Vidosic's agent, Ante Alilovic, said that Whowin had been targeting his client since last summer, but only managed to push through with the proposal this year.
"Liaoning Whowin have been tracking Dario for a while now," said Alilovic, who also was Australian star Tim Cahill's representative. "They wanted him before the start of the last A-League season after he had just signed (with the) Wanderers."
"But they could not come to terms back then. However, they have snapped him up now. And it's a good opportunity for him," the agent added.
