James Corden to Replace Craig Ferguson on 'The Late Late Show'

Actor and writer James Corden is said to be replacing Craig Ferguson as host of 'The Late Late Show', a talk show under CBS.
Craig Ferguson steps down as the host after ten years and will be replaced by Corden, who is a big name in the United Kingdom for the BBC comedy series 'Gavin and Stacey.' He is still relatively unknown in the United States, but will be making his debut.

CBS says that nothing else mattered besides looking for an outstanding host for 'The Late Late Show' who can uphold their standards. James Corden is yet another talent that the network would like to add to the long line of talented late-night hosts.
The network has been anticipating the casting after they arranged a meeting with James Corden. CBS has praised the actor for his work in the UK and is excited about his official appointment for the post.
CBS Entertainment chairman, Nina Tassler, stated that they have chosen James Corden as he was a remarkable entertainer who performs with irresistible charm, warmth and originality. The chairman has called him the 'ultimate multi-hyphenate'.
James Corden is a writer, creator and also a performer. The English multi-hyphenate is also said to be loved and respected in every field he works on.
James Corden is also an award-winning actor. He won a Tony Award for his role in 'One Man, Two Guvnors.' He was praised for his role in 'Gavin and Stacey' and is said to have co-created the TV series with BBC.
The 36-year old actor is widely known for his comedic roles in the UK. He has been known to be one of the youngest artists who have credits in TV, film and stage performances.
James Corden recently starred in the movie 'Begin Again' which also features 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actress Keira Knightley.
It is not yet determined when James Corden will begin hosting 'The Late Late Show', but the network is said to be introducing him in early 2015.
