BBK, one of the biggest smartphone company in Asia, has launched a new smartphone company called Imoo. The company is a major shareholder of notable tech companies like Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus.

Following the announcement, a handful of renders believed to belong to an upcoming Imoo smartphone has started to circulate on the Internet. Based on the leaked renders, the Imoo smartphone will sport an aluminum chassis with a built-it physical record button located on the left side.

Recently, an Antutu benchmark of the Imoo M1000 smartphone also surfaced online. Based on the benchmark result, the smartphone will have a Full HD resolution. It will also have 3GB of internal memory and 32GB of storage space.

At the heart of the Imoo M1000 is the Helio P10 64-bit Octa-core processor from MediaTek. It also has a Mali T860 graphics processing unit.

The Imoo smartphone will have a 13-megapixel rear facing shooter and a 5-megapixel front facing the camera. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and features Imoo's custom user interface.

The upcoming Imoo smartphone has been labeled as an "educational smartphone." This could mean that the device might be primarily marketed for its educational benefits. There are rumors that the smartphone will come preinstalled with educational software.

One of the leaked photos also reveals a feature called "Teachers recommendations." A different health-oriented feature was also spotted on one of the pictures.

There are indications that the Imoo smartphone will not be released outside of its home country. Regarding its other hardware specs, tech analysts are expecting basic to mid-level features, especially since the smartphone will be marketed as an educational tool rather than a high-end device.
