Chinese Super League 2016: Yanbian Funde vs Hangzhou Greentown, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

(Photo : Getty Images) Yanbian Funde will meet Hangzhou Greentown at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium on Sunday for a 2016 Chinese Super League encounter.

Last season's China League One champions Yanbian Funde FC (4-7-4, 16 points) are scheduled to meet struggling team Hangzhou Greentown FC (3-9-3, 12 points) on July 3, Sunday in a 2016 Chinese Super League encounter at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium.

Yanbian Funde has recently built a two-game unbeaten run as the team put a stop to their two consecutive losses. They are now settled at the 10th spot of the China top flight table, four points above the bottom two relegation zone and a long 13 points away from the third and final AFC Champions League qualifying berth for next season currently held by Jiangsu Suning.

Manager Park Tae-ha's boys pulled off a crushing 3-1 romp over reeling squad Shijiazhuang Ever Bright last Sunday on the road at the Yutong International Sports Center to snatch their first win in their five matches, as per Soccerway.

Serbian defender Nikola Petkovic broke the game's deadlock at the 31st minute before local midfielder Cui Ren scored another one to make a two-point spread just eight minutes later.

The team kept their lead until Shijiazhuang managed to score a goal with nine minutes left before full time, courtesy of Brazilian forward Diego Mauricio off a pass by teammate Cui Peng.

South Korean striker Kim Seung-dae sealed the win with an injury time goal to bring the newly-promoted squad back to its winning ways.

Meanwhile, Hangzhou Greentown is coming off an impressive 1-0 upset over an Ezequiel Lavezzi and Gervinho-less Hebei China Fortune squad at their home field of Yellow Dragon Sports Center last Saturday, via Goal.

Local striker Tan Yang provided the lone goal for head coach Hong Myung-bo's side at the 26th minute of the match as they snapped an 11-game winless slide to get out of the cellar of the China top flight standings. However, they still remain in the bottom two relegation zone after the win.

The predicted result is a tough 2-1 decision for Yanbian Funde.
