The much awaited battle between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is once again gaining steam as Pacman and his promoter, Top-Rank, revealed they are currently negotiating with Money May's camp for a possible showdown in 2015.
Pacquiao, who will be fighting undefeated American Chris Algieri on November 22 in Macau, disclosed that his camp is currently in talk with Mayweather's side to finally hammer a deal that would change this history of boxing forever.

"There are serious negotiations with the Mayweather camp and my promoter," said the 35-year old Pacquiao, who was supposed to fight Mayweather five years ago but disputes on money sharing and blood testing stipulations derailed the match to happen.
The eight-time division world champ added that a fight with Mayweather could happen next year, probably in Dubai with at least $225 million (conservative estimates) at stake for their pound-for-pound slugfest.
Top-Rank promoter Bob Arum also disclosed that cable companies HBO and Showtime are interested to settle their score once and for all and together stage the fight all boxing fans are looking for.
The veteran promoter even hinted of a potential back-to-back showdown between Pacquiao and Mayweather, because of the magnitude of the matchup featuring two of the best boxers in the present era.
"Both [TV] networks want this to happen. All signs seem to point to a first fight early next year." Arum said in an interview with the Mirror. "A second fight in the autumn would provide a different cash split because the winner of the first would claim the higher percentage. As each of them believes he would win, that provides an extra incentive."
Will Macau Get The Nod To Host For Pacquiao vs. Mayweather?
Other than Dubai (which is backed by the Sultan's petro dollars), Las Vegas and Macau have also been mentioned as potential sites for the historic bout.
MGM Grand Garden has already hosted a number of big fights in the past - including the Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez showdown last September, while Macau has steadily become a major spot for professional boxing because of China's huge market (1 billion viewers).
The question now is will Macau get the rights to host Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight. Possibly, but it all depends on how much money the city would place to make it an appealing venue for both Pacquiao and Mayweather. If the price is right, then Macau is the place to be.
