Chinese smartphone manufacturer LeEco has unveiled a high-end version of its LeEco Le Max 2 smartphone with a new color called Force Gold. LeEco is going to have a flash sale for its Le Max 2 and Le 2 smartphones at midnight on July 5.

LeEco consulted color psychologists and tech experts to be able to create this special Force Gold color for the Le Max 2 as well as the Le 2 and Le 2 Pro smartphones.

Le Max 2 comes with a 5.7-inch quad high-definition display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The device also has a powerful 21-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.0, 6P lens, phase detection autofocus, a dual-tone flash, OIS, and the latest 4K video recording. The Le Max 2 also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and long-period video chats. It is packed with a 3100 mAh battery. This is the first Continual Digital Lossless Audio technology smartphone in the world. It comes with USB Type-C post, Quick Charge 3.0 support. For only 5 minutes of single charge, 3.5 hours of talk time are achieved.

The Le Max 2 comes in three storage variants; a 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage for only 2099 yuan ($315), a 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage for 2499 yuan ($375), and a 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage for 2799 yuan ($421). On OPPOMART pre-order listing shows that the 32 GB version costs $499, the 64 GB version $449, and the 128 GB version $499.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) chipset clocked at a speed of 2.2 GHz with Adreno 530. The connectivity options of the device are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and HSPA+.
