Both devices would feature almost similar configuration. The only difference between them is the size and resolution of the display, and their battery capacity.
There are reports that the Nexus “Marlin” will sport a quad-core Snapdragon 820 or the rumored 821/ 823 processor along with 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display that has a resolution of 2560 × 1440. The new Nexus device will have 4GB of RAM with two options on the internal storage: 32GB and 128GB.
Nexus “Marlin” will feature a 12MP rear camera alongside an 8MP front camera. The handset is also expected to feature a large 3450mAh battery. Other features include USB-port, Bluetooth 4.2 rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and bottom-firing speakers.
Both Nexus smartphones are likely to be launched in September this year, according to Moto G4 Blog. In 2015, Google launched the Nexus 5x and 6P in the same month. There is no word yet about the price of the two new Nexus devices.
