Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi will soon be releasing its Xiaomi Mi Notebook in the market. An image of a 12.5-inch version of the laptop has surfaced online.
Following the leak, Xiaomi chief executive officer Lei Jun confirmed that the company is planning to release the Mi Notebook soon, as Android Headlines reported.

In the leaked image, the laptop looks like Apple's MacBook laptop. The "Mi" branding is seen at the top of the device - that is the only noticeable difference. But the ports of the laptop are not visible enough because of the low picture resolution. The image also has a word of warning that the laptop could be a render rather than the real deal. It shows a sleek aluminum design.
The Mi Notebook is expected to be made of metal and is likely to hit the shelves in September. It would also be quite affordable, making it the perfect laptop for kids.
According to Pocket-lint, it will likely to come in two screen variants. The leaked image mentions a 12.5-inch model only, which will run on Windows 10.
Xiaomi unveiled plenty products at the Google I/O on May 18, but the Mi Notebook was not included.
